I’m known for being: a natural beauty expert, makeup artist and herbalist.

What makes it special is: After fifteen years in the beauty industry—plus a background in ayurveda, Western herbalism, food as medicine and psychology—I’ve open a holistic skin coaching practice. I am so deeply passionate about helping women heal and balance their skin, choose the best and healthiest products and feel their absolute best in their bodies. I love being able to combine all of my expertise: to work with a woman to find the best non-toxic mascara, heal her dry skin and get her a new and improved self-care strategy all in one consultation.
I created my herbal tea to support and balance the nervous systems of the incredible women in my life. I wanted to help them relax their bodies and minds, so they can get back out there in the world and continue to do the amazing things that they do, feeling grounded and strong. It is one of my many tricks to empower self-care for the mind, body and spirit, and help to bring nature back into our homes in an easy way by leaning on the supportive medicine of plants.
One thing you can’t miss is: taking some time out of your day to sit and drink tea and rest. I like to brew the tea for 10-15 minutes, with a lid on to trap the volatile oils and make it more medicinal. I’ll sometimes add a little raw honey, if I’m in the mood. Sitting quietly and having a break in the day, like a mini tea time with myself, is one of my most treasured mindfulness rituals. Smelling the herbs, holding a beautiful ceramic mug, feeling the heat in my hands; it makes for an incredibly delicious experience that I wish we could all enjoy daily.
This is when my world slows down; I ground back into myself, focus on my breathing again and hit the “restart” button for the day. Try it! Give yourself the gift of a tea break with stress-supportive herbs to help you make your busy days more manageable and pleasurable.

Honoring the powers and lessons of stress, diet, beauty products and lifestyle is the quickest and deepest way I have found to live our most vibrant and nourished lives.

So much of this work involves plants and the earth and finding ways to honor our bodies—an extension of Mother Earth and all of her glory. My goal is always to bring momentum back into the self-care process, to inspire a profound relationship between our bodies and the earth and our profound power. And it can all start small, with whatever part of this equation you find approachable. Start with making friends with your skin and taking care of yourself. As activist Audre Lorde said, “Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare.”
