This January, we are Giving The Process: For each of the first 30 days of the month, we’re highlighting something—and someone—amazing in the wellness world, representing the beauty, health, style, creative, energetic and/or spiritual boost you need to start the New Year as your most balanced and powerful self. On January 31, one charmed reader will win one of every item and ritual we highlight, including a $1,000 gift card to Live The Process!
They say it takes 30 days to create a habit—enter here and make your 2018 about complete self-care.
Today’s The Process Gift is Incausa’s Singing Bowl Bath & Meditate Set.
My name is: We are Incausa.
We’re known for being: a Social Indigenous Entrepreneurship based in Brooklyn since 2012.
We are sharing: our Singing Bowl Bath & Meditate set including a hand-hammered singing bowl with ring pillow; hand thrown stoneware incense holder; and soap and incense bundled with mallet, hand wrapped with Traditional Nepalese Lokta paper.
Our items are small batch. The soap is vegan, made with essential oils (including lavender, coriander, patchouli, cardamon, marjoram, clove, cinnamon, vetiver, geranium and more) and bundled with breu resin, palo santo, white sage, chacrona and jagube artisanal incense sticks, as well as hand pressed palo santo incense bricks and in natura.
You can find it at: Incausa.co.
What makes it special is: It’s a unique gift offering of handmade, consciously purposeful products. It helps support our social indigenous developments, while inviting for personal contemplation practice.
One thing you can’t miss is: Incausa is a study to find meaningfulness in profit. Our goal is to support mindful personal, communal and societal growth. We began by creating a product line for ritual and meditation practice that touches on the ancient traditions—pure in essence, materials and simplicity. The design speaks to a sustainable distancing from automation to up-value the human hand touch, while establishing and structuring non-profit logistics and wholesale market placement for indigenous artisanship to support their heritage and sovereignty.
Your body will thank you because: The result of meditation practice and ritual is a peaceful, fulfilled state of mind. This state resonates within the body as a whole and permeates beyond our self to inspire others around us.
This will help you be your best you this year because: Creating a space for daily contemplation practice can substantially support an ever clearer mind. That helps us better understand our motives and impulses, while drafting our resolutions and goals for the year ahead.
