My name is: Ruby Warrington.

My book is called: Material Girl, Mystical World: The Now Age Guide to a High Vibe Life.

The publication date is: May 2, 2017. (Today!)

I was inspired to write it when: An editor at Harper Collins found my site, The Numinous, while researching new voices in modern spirituality. She reached out to see if I had a book proposal in the works—so I quickly started working on one!

It's about: The book is a memoir and guide to all the subjects I cover on The Numinous—from astrology and plant medicine to contemporary shamanism and Burning Man—told through the lens of my personal experience and transformation. I used to work in fashion magazines, so it's the story of my journey from “material girl to mystical world.” Elevator pitch? Sex and the City meets Eat Pray Love!

My hope is that readers will: laugh a lot, get educated on all things “Now Age” and be inspired to create a life that is truly meaningful to them.

My next book might be: My “sober curious” journey or how to get high on your own supply.

The title of my autobiography would be: "Ruby Slippers."

If I was a character from fiction, I’d be: Carrie Bradshaw at an ashram!
