My name is: Austyn Blaine Weiner.

I’m known for being: Overtly myself (for better or for worse) and an artist!

I'm talking about: The nature of the world we live in, and how I process the experience of it.
You can find it at: My studio in Frogtown, Los Angeles, but also at my upcoming exhibition in Berlin, at Konig Gallery, opening on September 29th.
Before I created this work, I was: Subconsciously preparing for this very moment.
What inspired me to begin working in this way was: An absolute necessity to express my experience and release my emotions.
The work is about: One perspective, and the story of it. It is about chaos, both celebrated and resented.
One thing you might notice is: My work and I are one. There is no separation between us and, for that, I am eternally grateful. I have a constant outlet for everything I experience and feel, and I could not exist any other way.
My favorite secret detail is: My ability to exit this world and enter my own every time I approach the canvas.
For me, what it means to create with purpose and intention is: To be present throughout every step of the creative process, and to be cognizant of the energy I am putting into the works.
Creating this work helps me live my process because: It is a reflection of who I am and the message I want to send out into the world: to be unapologetically yourself, at the risk of gaining it all and more.
