Megan Huylo is a New York-based chef, cooking instructor and culinary consultant. She is a graduate of the Natural Gourmet Institute’s Chef’s Training Program and completed the certificate program in plant-based nutrition from the T. Colin Campbell Foundation and Cornell University. She is dedicated to working with whole, real foods that are local, seasonal and organic with a focus on vegetable-forward cuisine and sustainable animal proteins.
Huylo's experience is diverse and includes time spent in the kitchens of restaurants, cleanse companies, private homes, two organic farms and a whole animal butcher shop. She is a recreational instructor at the Natural Gourmet Institute and was the chef at Bhumi Farms in East Hampton, New York, where she worked in the fields, studied nutrient-dense farming and hosted private farm-to-table dining events.
